I tracked down the setting to disable the (undoubtedly AI-driven) predictive text assistant in my work browser today. While it might be helpful when typing new text (if I were actually paying attention to it), it was a serious pain in my ass when I was editing existing text, especially when it wasn't normal text (in this case, it was file paths). And, if you don't notice what it is doing and hit the key that accepts the text, now you have a mess on your hands. Overly "helpful" software has always been such an annoyance to me.
