I learned today how my employer contributes to natural gas getting to Europe (and other places) even though we are not in the LNG business. As a natural gas marketer, we have a certain pipeline capacity we use to get gas to the markets we serve. Many of our customers use far less gas in the summer months, leaving us with spare transport capacity. This allows us to use that capacity to buy near a source and sell near an LNG terminal.
