We shall see if my team from last week held together. They have been very uncommunicative over the past week as I have tried to get us coordinated for picture night tonight. Hopefully, all is well and we will have another good night.

I also expect some surprise tonight from my wife, as it is my birthday. Maybe I will arrive to find that there is a birthday cake. And then they will want me to roll my age (only 50% higher than my personal best). If so, I want to get tonight's opponents to agree that, if I do somehow accomplish that, it counts as my first frame in our match, because I want it to be officially recorded, unlike my current personal best from last week.

We all rolled worse than last week and ended up with an 814. But, it loks like every team rolled worse, so we still ended up with the 3rd highest score of the night. Rolling afterwards, I set a new non-game personal best when I rolled a 45 (rolling for 10s, not my usual up-the middle).

Yes, my wife did have a surprise party for me. My eldest son drove the other 2 kids over a little bit after us. There was a cake, balloons, hats, and masks. I'll see about some pictures tomorrow. Everyone sang happy birthday and, no-surprise, I failed to roll my age, despite getting a multiple count (flaky machine) on the 10 I rolled.
