It's been awhile since I posted about the Mars Helicopter & Perserverence.
The helicopter has flown so far a total of 18 times for a grand total of 30 minutes flying.
Their next goal is to reach the Jezero river delta to assist in navigation of the Perseverance rover.
#^Flight 19 - New Year, Same IngenuityThe next flight on Mars marks the first of 2022 and the nineteenth for NASA’s Ingenuity Mars Helicopter. The current mission goal is to reach the Jezero river delta to aid the Perseverance rover in path planning and scientific discovery.
Perserverence has driven over 2.9 kilometers, +100,000 images, and collected six rock samples.
