I just won Horizon Forbidden West. I like that they added more function like swimming and flying. The game play is long, it felt longer than Horizon Zero Dawn.
Being excited about the release of Forbidden West, I replayed Zero Dawn prior, so I have both games fresh in my mind.
I will have to say that Zero Dawn has an unbeatable story line, it is just excellent. With them upgrading the graphics for the PS5, it maintains itself as a masterpiece.
Forbidden West has significantly weaker plot line. I believe they actually have much more voice over, acting, and conversation in general in Forbidden West. Also, they redesigned the entire way that skill tree progression works. I felt it cumbersome and battle never felt as clean as the first (although still insanely good).
All that said, I enjoyed Horizon Forbidden West quite a bit, good game. At some point I'll probably replay.
