If you want to "watch" the Holey Rollers get clobbered by the Baby Clowns in the #skeeball tournament, you can watch the live scoring page. Once our game starts, you will see our match on the main page and you can click on it to see the frame-by-frame action. The semi-final tournament matches are scheduled to start at 6pm Eastern Time on Sunday. The finals are scheduled for around 7:30. The Hundo Derby will be after that, but it is scored locally.

We lost 827-1071. We did lead by 1 point after the first frame. I tied with my 2nd best score of the season (338). DragginBallz had his 3rd highest score of the season (291). Our substitute, knobodskee, rolled her worst game of the season (198). I got my first full circle (all 40s) in a game (I've done it a couple times in practice).

Meanwhile, while our high scorer (average 331) was substituted with someone who rolled a 198, the other team had a substitute of their lowest scoring player (average 210) with someone who scored 395. If both teams had had their usual players, we could have won. If you replace replace the substitute's scores with the averages of the players they replaced, it comes out as 960-886 in our favor. Starting next season, the rule will be that all tournament players have played in 2 regular season games for the team. Had that been the rule this season, I guess both teams would have been screwed. I guess we could have played 2-on-2 in the semis and been crushed in the finals.

My wife was exhausted, so we didn't stick around to watch the finals or participate in the Hundo Derby.

The finals match was apparently amazing, with both teams breaking the team score record for the season of 1241 set by Incogskeeto in week 8. Incogskeeto beat Baby Clowns 1380-1291. The box score page hasn't shown up yet, but this is the scoring page which has everything in a much less compact form.
