Marshall Sutherland (Posting with Hubzilla) Here is a small print. I use this stormtrooper to fine tune my print settings as it is a hard print to complete properly. It's also fast as it is only 60mm (2.3 inches) high. Adjusting chamber temperature and fan settings have a huge impact on overall quality, especially with ABS.
These two figures were exposed to acetone vapor for around 1 hour at the same time. Notice that the white figure is more melted in the same duration. I'm guessing it could vary on the amount of melting based off of brand (they are both different brands) and pigment too. Notice the quality on the blue figure is really nice. Detail is kept but the layers of melted (smoothed) together.
In the future, I'll acetone vapor one brand/color at a time to combat. It looks like the base is really melted on the white, so I'm guessing it was pretty much done in 45 minutes. I have never acetone vapored something so small, so this has been a learning experience too.
These are throw away, I just use them to fine tune my printer.
