Agreed, I'm guessing that some stuff is CNC, other stuff is 3d welded, etc., but all is computer driven.

Since the Green New Deal (GND) I am increasingly worried about claims in manufacturing, the only industry I know. My former training in railways included a sufficient amount of history, and oh boy the (GND) is ignoring 99.9999 % of what should have been a knee-jerk response to anything new. The railways alone killed and maimed plenty of people over the two centuries, have we learned nothing?

I am only 3D-printing in harmless PLA and I have nearly killed my cat a few times.. I am lucky to have a smart cat, because I am surely not smart enough to try and keep her away from the printers.
