Remember when having the US national #
debt
tick past another trillion was a big deal? Now that it happens multiple times a year, I guess it is "meh". We passed $34T a couple days ago.

For fun I looked up that 1T occurred in 1981. Supposedly $1 in 1981 is worth ~3.59 today. So... In 1981 dollars the current debt is 9.47T.
