Tomorrow night's schedule is out and it is going to be a tough night for the Mo-skeetos. We are up against the #1 team. Their average is almost 200 points higher than ours. We have to have a great night and they have to have a lousy one for us to have a chance.

They had a bad night, but so did we, so we lost 970--798. I had an average night with a 254, which put me ahead of one on my team and one on theirs. I only manager to break 30 on my last frame when I had a 31.

Team tournament play starts next week. We have fewer teams than last season (summer and all), so I don't know if they will do anything differently. There are probably only 9 teams with enough games to qualify.

My regular season average this season was 252.6. Last season, it was 251.6. Not as much of an improvement as I would have liked. I had both better and worse games this season. Last season, my range was 242-272 and, this season, it was 225-276. In practice, I certainly did better this season. In game, I feel like I put in way too much effort and get no extra result from it. Maybe if a tournament game seems hopeless, I'll be able to say "<bleep> it" and relax. In regular season games, it is the score that counts, so there is pressure even if it is a blow out.

The deadline for make-up rolls has passed and it looks like the scores have been entered. My team is still ranked #3. No word yet on how the tournament brackets will be organized, but if 6 games are required to qualify, there are 9 teams, assuming they all show up. Individually, once I eliminate the people without 6 games this season, I am personally ranked #20 out of 24. This might actually matter if we get back from DragonCon in time to participate in the individual tournament.
