I saw some posts that some people has seen some locally, but they were off where they had a good view of the horizon. It didn't occur to me to go look, as the predictions didn't indicate it would be visible this far south. I certainly couldn't just walk outside and look. There are too many trees around to see anything near the horizon. If we want to take a look tonight, there is a parking garage nearby for the hospital that would get us fairly high, but there is a lot of light. We have gone there to see launches over at the Kennedy Space Center. If the sky looks clear, maybe we will give that a try.

According to #^https://poweroutage.us/ the only significant outage in the US has been at the northern border of Florida. I'm guessing that was a result of storms that went through yesterday. I don't know about other parts of the world, but we seem to have missed the worst-case scenario so far. There is more on the way.

Has anyone experienced issues near where you are?

Starlink went out for a couple of minutes. But we're pretty much off-grid now.

Didn't see any Aurora Australis, but we're just a smidgin too far north. Some of the larger geo storms are visible in Canberra (2 hours SW), but never in Sydney (1 hour N).
