The delayed #
skeeball sign-up party was good. I forgot to ask what happened to the bar last week to cause the delay.
I actually did really well! I made it to the 3rd round of the 40 challenge. I won the 50 challenge, beating my wife in (I think) the fifth round. I (and all but 2 people) got eliminated in the 1st round of the hundo challenge.
Then we played a team game with randomly assigned 3-player teams. We had a round where every teammate got to roll 3 times for 40's. Each was worth 1 point. Then we each rolled 3 times for 50's. Each was worth 2 points. Then we each rolled for 100's. Each was worth 3 points. The team with most points wins. I did pretty bad in this, but my teammates did well and we ended up winning. After winning the 50 challenge, it was rather embarrassing to miss all my 50's.
Regular season play starts tomorrow night! One of my new teammates was there tonight and was on my random team. My other new teammate wasn't there and so will be playing tomorrow with only whatever practice he can squeeze in before we start.
