Week 1 of #
skeeball went OK. We lost 757-855 (hey, we kept it within 100!). I had a 267 (one point above last season's average), which I admit I was disappointed by, given how much I have been practicing at home. My two rookie teammates both scores 245, which is respectable for their first match. They also each broke 30 on at least one frame, which is always a morale boost. After my first frame of my first game, I didn't break 300 again for weeks, my first season.
My teammates had a great time. I had a good time, too, as I actually got to talk to my team. Last season, one teammate had to go back to work the bar and the other had other people she socialized with, so I was on my own for the most part.
