Cedar Key is on the gulf coast south-west of us. Being on the "on-shore wind" side of the storm (I'm sure there is a more proper term), they got some serious storm surge.
As a relatively new owner of a metal roof, I was glad to see how well the metal roofs survived. But a metal roof won't prevent the waves from taking out the structure beneath it.
