Jason Cook's 3D Printed German Medieval Castle
This Medieval Castle was printed by Jason Cooks 3D printer. It took 150 hours or six and one-quarter days to print. The total filament material used was 2.2 kilograms. The castle was inspired by two European castles known as the Schloss Lichtenstein and the Neuschwanstein Castle. The Schloss Lichtenstein is located in the Swabian Jura Alps in Baden Wurttemberg. The Neuschwanstein is found on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Fussen in southwest Bavaria, Germany.
This print came out just absolutely gorgeous. Everyone who has entered my home to see the castle up close will take a few minutes to study the structure's intricacies. Jason's 3D printer showed off its precision in the fine detail of the spires, watchtowers, lancet windows, corbels, machicolations, turrets, and arrow slits. The wow factor of this piece will never get old. I am forever grateful to Jason for printing this beautiful piece of art for me. Thank you Jason!
Welcome Brian! Thanks for the kind words.

Spectacular result, Jason is a true 3D printing pioneer. He is also a pioneer on Hubzilla / Fediverse, one of the few people who brings action and activities instead of just a lot of talk about all sort things. Indeed, good to have you here, I am looking forward to your posts!
